VIII. And be it further enafted by the Authority aforefaid. That the faid Commiflioners, or any five or Commifljoners more of them, afiembled at all or any of their Meetings to be held by virtue of this Ad, fliall be, and are impowered to cut hereby fully impov/ered, from time to time, to make, fupport, alter and maintain, or caufe to be made, Drams, and per- Supported, altered and maintained, fuch Cuts, Drains, Dams, Banks, Tunnels.
