II. Provided always, and to the Intent that the Revenue arifmg from Salt may not be pre- -* judiced by fuch Importation of Salted Beef, Pork and Butter from Ire/and; Be it enacted. That or other Duties, on the Landing after the faid twenty- fourth Day of 3^^^^^ one thoufand feven hundred and fifty-eight, during !jl*"'^° ^'"" ^ ^-3 'j^ P*^""^* the Continuance of this Act, there fhall be paid to fuch Officer as the Commiffioners for the ^' ""^ " °^ °' " Duties on Salt for the time being fhall appoint, at the Port in England into which any fuch Salted Beef, Pork or Butter, fhall, in purfuance of this A61, be imported from Ireland, and befo.'e any Part thereof fhall be delivered out to the Perfon or Perfons to whom the fame fhall belong or be configned, the Sum of one Shilling and three Pence for every hundred Weight of all fuch Salted Beef or Pork ; and the Sum of four Pence for every hundred Weight of all fuch and 4d. per C. Wt. for Butterj.
