Amendm.ents made by any A6ts of Parliament fubfequent thereto, for continuing, explaining or amending the fame, lhall be and are hereby repealed, annulled and made void. II. And, to the Intent that from and after the faid twenty-ninth Day of September, a plain and conftant Rule and Method may be duly obferved and kept in the making and aflizing of the feveral Sorts of Bread which fhall be made for Sale in any Place or Places where an Aflize of Bread fhall at any Time be thought proper to be fet in purfuance of this A6f, Be it further en- Gen-ril Ordinance f-^r fetting an acted by the Authority aforefaid, That from and after the faid twenty-ninth Day of September, Ailizeand I'nce of Bead. jt fhall be lawful for the Court, or Perfon or Perfons herein after authorized by this A6t to fet the Affizc of Bread, to fet, afcertain and appoint, in any Place or Places within their refpec- tive Jurifdi(Slions, the Aflize and Weight of all Sorts of Bread, which (hall, in any fuch Place or Places, be made for Sale, or expofed to Sale, and the Price to be paid for the fame refpec- tively, when, and as often, from time to time, as any fuch Court, or Perfon or Perfons as afore- Affee to be tegulated by the faid, (hall think proper; and that in every Aflize of Bread which fhall be fet in purfuance of Price the Grain, Mea) or Flour ^^[5 ^^^ RefpecT: (hall, from time to time, be had by the Court, Perfon or Perfons as aforefaid, St'tobelllJwed'lo?he Baker. ^^^'^^ ^^^^ ^^^ ^^^ ^^"^^' ^^ the Price which the Grain, Meal or Flour, whereof fuch Bread lliall be made, fliall bear in the publick Market or Markets, in or near the Place or Places for which any fuch Aflize fhall be fo at any Time fet ; and making, from time to time, reafonable Allowance to the Makers of Bread for Sale, where any fuch Aflize fhall be fo fet, for their Charges, Labour, Pains, Livelihood and Profit, as fuch Court, or Perfon or Perfons as afore- faid refpeftively, who fhall at any Time think fit to fet any fuch Aflize, fhall, from time to. time, deem proper. That from and after the faid twen- Sort of Bread (wheaten and ty-ninth Day of September, where an Aflize of Bread fhall at any Time be thought proper to T'^°Vl'^'n^ other than ^^ (- ( pj^ pj^^ ^ ^r,,^^^ of this Acl, no Perfon or Perfons ftiall there make for V hat IS thereby allowed, IS to be 01 r 11 r c c ^ c r t> 1 ttj-l j tj n 1 j made for S.Ue • bale, or lell, or expole to or for Sale, any Sort or Bread, except VVheaten and Houihold, otherwife Brown Bread, and fuch other Sort or Sorts of Bread, as in fuch Place or Places fhall be publickly allowed to be made or fold by the Court, or Perfon or Perfons, who by this A6t are authorized to fet an Aflize of Bread for any fuch Place or Places ; but where it hath been iifual to make Bread with the Meal or Flour of Rye, Barley, Oats, Beans or Peafe, or with the Meal or Flour of any fuch different Sorts of Grain mixed together, or the Court or Perfon or Perfons impowered to fet an Aflize of Bread by virtue of this A61, fhall at any Time think fit to order or allow in any Place or Places within the Limits of their refpe£five Jurifdidfions, Bread to be made with Rye, Barley, Oats, Beans or Peafe, or with the Flour or Meal thereof, or with under Penalty of forfeiting not the Meal or Flour of any fuch different Sorts of Grain mixed together, fuch Bread fhall and may exceeding 40s. nor lei's than aos. ^g there made and fold ; and if any Perfon fhall offend in the Premiiles, and fhall be convicted of any fuch Offence, either by his, her or their own Confelflon, or by the Oath of one or more credible Witnefs or Witnefles, before any Magiftrate or Magiftrates, Juftice or Juftices of the Peace, within the Limits of his or their JurifdicSlion, every one fo offending fliall, on every fuch Convidfion, forfeit and pay any Sum not exceeding forty Shillings, nor lefs than twenty Shillings, as any fuch Magiftrate or Magiftrates, Juftice or Juftices, fliall think fit and order.
