Which faid Oath fhall and may be adminiftered by any two or more of the other Managers and XLl. Provided alfo, and it is hereby ena6led by the Authority aforefaid. That no Perfon or Perfons {hall [:^'fa^'°" °| ^^^«^°f fell the Chance or Chances of any Ticket or Tickets in the faid Lottery, or any Share or Shares "'^"*> '^• of any Ticket or Tickets in the faid Lottery, for a Day, or Part of a Day, or for a longer Time lefs than the whole Time of drawing the Lottery then to come ; or fhall receive any Money what- foever in Confideration of the Repayment of any Sum or Sums of A^oney, in cafe any 'Picket or Tickets in the faid Lottery fhall prove Fortunate; or fhall lay any Wager relating to the drawing of any Ticket or Tickets in the fiiid Lottery, either as to the Time of fuch Ticket or Tickets be- ing drawn, or whether fuch Ticket or Tickets be drawn Fortunate or Unfortunate ; and all and Penalty* I every Perfon and Perfons who fliall ofFend in any of the aforefaid Matters, fhall forfeit and pay treble the Sum and Sums of Money which fhall have been received by fuch Perfon and Perfons, contrary to the true Intent and Meaning of this Act; to be recovered by Adion of Debt, Bill,
- Plaint or Information, in any of his Majelty's Courts of Record at JVcJhn'inJler ; in which no ElToin,
- Protection, Privilege, or Wager of Law, or more than one Imparlance fhall be allowed; one
j Moiety whereof to be for the Ufe of his Majefly, his Heirs or Succellbrs, and the other Moiety to I be paid to the Perfon or Perfons who fhall fue for the fame ; and every fuch Sale, Wager or Con- i tract, and every Agreement relating thereto, fhall be and is hereby declared null and void. XLIil. XLIV. And be it further en atSted by the Authority aforefaid. That if any Offence again ft any OfTences committed in of the A6ts of Parliament made in this Kingdom, for preventing private and unlawful Lotteries, ^^'^"'^ ^S^'"** A*-"^* for fhall be committed in Ireland, the Offender fhall incur the like Penalty and Punifhment, to be in- Pf^.^^nting unlawful Lot- fli6ted in like Manner as if the Offence v^as committed in this Kingdom ; and thu fuch Penalties pSabL and ma%e as, by any of the faid A6ts, are directed to be recovered in any of his Majefty's Courts of Record fued for in' Dublin.^ at Wejlmirjier, fhall in cafe of Offences committed againft any of the faid A6ts in Ireland^ be reco- vered in any of his Majelty's Courts of Record in Dublin. And to the End that all and every the Payments, as well upon the Fortunate as upon After the Drawing of ' the Unfortunate Tickets, maybe more eafily afcertained, fettled and adjuftcd, for the Perfons it't Lottery, the 'lic!tets

That as foon as conveniently may be after the Drawing of the faid Lottery fhall be completed and ^"^•^^*'"- ended, all and every the faid Tickets, to be given out as afore^iid, fhall be exchanged for Certifi- cates to be figned by fuch of the faid Managers as fhall be appointed for that Purpofe.
