The Decrees fuftalning the Claims thereupon, t fioners of the Treafury for the Time being, to IfTue or caufe to be iflued, in fuch Proportions as he or they fliall think lit, to either or both of the Banks of ^for/^Ki zt Edinburgh, or to either of their lawful Attornies, a Sum not exceeding fixty-nine thoufand nine hundred and ten Pounds, fifteen Shillings and .nine Pence Farthing, to be applied in paying and difcharging the, faid Debts, with the neceflary Expence attending the Payment of the fame, in Manner herein after mentioned. XX. And be it further ena6ted by the Authority aforefaid, That the feveral Creditors, whofe Claims have been fuftained upon the faid Lands and Ellate, forfeited and annexed to the Crown as and Debentures to be then m^de out for the fame, with the Intereil cue ; which are to be paid at Sight by the Bank. Decrees not then pro- and upon Produciion of every fuch Decree or Decrees, the Barons of the faid Court of Exchequer, or any three or more of them, fhall and they are hereby impovvered and required to make out Deben- tures or Certificates under their Hands, with all convenient Difpatch, for the feveral Sums of Mo- ney, as well the Intereft computed to the Date of fuch Debentures or Certificates, as the Principal which fhall appear to be due by and under the faid Decrees refpeelively, or fo much thereof as flidl be then remaining unfatisfied ; which Debentures or Certificates fhall mention the Nature of the Debt claimed, and the Date of Decree fuftaining the fame, and fliall be iflued and delivered to the feveral Creditors refpedlively entitled to the Sums therein contained, or to fuch Pcrfons as fiiall be legally authorized to receive the faid Sums in Right or in Behalf of the faid Creditors, or any of them ; and the feveral Sums contained in the faid Debentures or Certificates fhall be paid at Sight, : without Deduction, Fee or Abatement, by the fiid Bank or Banks, out of the Money aforefaid, to the faid Creditors, or other Perfons in their Right, or on their Behalf, in whofe Names fuch De- bentures or Certificates {hall be made out, or to fuch others as fliall be duly impowered by the No- minees in the And Debentures or Certificates, to receive the fame; and the faid Debentures or Cer- tificates fhall be to the faid Bank or Banks, iufficient Difcharges for fuch Payments. XXJ. Provided always, and be it further enacted by the Authority aforefaid. X-XII. And be it further enabled by the Authority aforefaid. That the faid Barons of the Exchc- ^uer^QV any three or more of them, may and fliall, and they are hereby impowered to fettle and afctfit'^in, with the Confent of the CommifTioners of his Majcfty's Treafury, or any three or more of th'fm now being, or the High Treafurer, or any three or more of the Commiflioners of the Trea- Ci-iy for the Time being, the Rewards due for the Execution of this A£l to the Officers of the faid Court, and to iflue Debentures for the fame, which fhall be paid by the faid Bank or Banks out of the Money remaining in their Hands after the faid Debts are fatisfied and paid ; and fuch Debentures fliall be to the faid Banks, fufficient Difcharges for fuch Pay- ments. XXIII. And be it further cnaiSled by the Authority aforefaid. That no Officer or Officers of the faid Court of Exchequer fliall afk, demand or receive any Sum or Sums of Money from any Creditor upon the faid Eftate, in the Name of Fee or Reward, or on any other Pretence what- foever, for or on account of their Trouble in executing this A<Sl ; and the Officer or Officers of- fending herein, and being thereof lawfully convi6led before the faid Barons, who are hereby im- powered to judge and finally determine upon any Complaint brought againft: any fuch Officer or on Penakyof lool. and Officers, fliall forfeit and pay the Sum of one hundred Pounds; to be levied and applied by the Repayment of the Fee faid Barons ill the fame Manner as other Fines payable in x.iQ Exchequer
