In the love of God is contained the Divine Omnipotence; and where Omnipotence is, there is Omniscience and Omnipresence. Oh! stupendous thought! Divine Love, pregnant with every good, has the power to provide for all; wisdom to foresee the wants of all; and ubiquity to be present with all. The Love of God is a Divine principle, delighting to bless others out of itself, looking for no recompense; for God is the universal Giver of all good. Creation! the beautiful creation! is so formed as to be a representative image of the Divine Love; for as God gives, looking for nothing again as a recompense, so each part of the created universe, performs its cheerful work for the good of the whole, and not for itself.
