vigour to the strong! May we fecl an everlasting security under the guidance of thy providence! Thy presence stills every rising storm, and fills the soul with a peace that passeth all understanding! Dismiss us with thy blessing, and help us to sanctify thy Name for ever.

Monday Morning.
GRACIOUS and all-merciful Lord God and Saviour, Jesus Christ, Thou who hast been pleased in thy Word, to reveal Thyself as a God merciful and gracious, long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth, we beseech Thee to bless us through this day with thy sanctifying life and presence. O keep us in the way of peace! for they are indeed blessed, whose steps are ordered by Thee. We thank Thee, Parent of Good! that thou hast blessed us with the gifts of reason and of speech; help us to use these aright, that so we may, in their exercise, be able not only to transmit our affections and thoughts to others for the general good of mankind, but to praise thy Name as the universal Giver of all good.
Thou hast spoken to us in thy word and said, "My time is not yet come; but your time is alway ready." O enlighten us to behold the precious import of these thy words; for by them we are taught, that thou hast created us in freedom, so as to be able, at all times, to receive thy gifts of truth and love! our state, or time, by thy creative mercy, is always ready; but thy time only is when we receive and are blessed!
