Sunday Morning.
O LORD JESUS CHRIST, the Creator of the Universe, the sovereign Disposer of all human affairs, and the tender Father of thy people, help us, we beseech thee, now to approach thy Divine Majesty, and to bless and praise Thee for all the mercies hitherto received from thy bountiful hand. Prepare us, gracious God, to perform with joy and gladness the sacred devotions of this holy Sabbath. May the GOOD about to be dispensed in thy church this day be received by all as the bread of heaven, nourishing the soul into everlasting life; while the TRUTH, as the living wine of the kingdom, may so refresh and enlighten the mind, that spiritual joy and gladness may be felt in the assembly of thy people. Give us to feel an entire dependence on Thee, and to know that in thy presence there is fulness of joy, and at thy right hand pleasures for evermore.
O God of heaven and earth, we thank Thee for the refreshing repose of the last night, and for that blessing now granted us of beholding the dawn of another
