Chester, by Hester, sister and h. of Samuel Egerton, of Tatton Park, near Knutsford in that county. It might be supposed that Tatton Park was inherited from tho family of Tatton, but such was not the ease. It was derived from the Hon. Thomas Egerton, of Tatton Park afsd (3d son of John, 2d Earl of Bridgwater) father of John E. of the samo, who was tho father of the said Samuel Egerton and Hester Tatton. Earldom. vrr. Barony. XIV.
