Ch.), 24 Oct. 1785 ; M.P. for Wculock, 1790-1S20, and having, by the death of his cousin George Forester, sue. to the estate of Willey Park afsd. took by Royal lie, 15 Aug. 1811 (in compliance with his will) the surname of TFc/rff) before that of Forester, and was, 17 July 1821,( b ) a: BAliON FORESTER OF WILLEY PARK, co. Salop. Ho m. 16 June 1800, Katharine Mar)', 2d da. of Charles (Manners), ith Dcke ok Rutland, by Mary Isabella, da. of Charles (Somerset), 1th Duke ok Beaufort. He d. 23 May 1828, aged 61. WiU pr. John George Weld (Weld-Forester), Baiion Forester of Wii.let Park, 1st s. and h., b. 9 Aug, 1S01, in Sackville street, and bap. 7 Sep. at St. James,' Westm. ; mat. at Oxford (Ch. Ch.), 24 Nov. 1820; M.P. for Weulock, 1826-28 ; Capt. of the corps of Gent, at Anns, 1841-40; P.C., 1841. He m. 10 June 1856, at St. John's, Paddington, Alexaudrina Julia Theresa Wilhelmina Sophia, Dow. Viscountess Melbourne ft], da. of Joachim Charles Louis Mortimer, Count Von-Maltzan, the Prussian Envoy to the Court of Vienna. He d. s.p. 10 Oct. 1874, aged 73, at Willey Park. His widow, who was b. 5 Jan. 1818, was living 1890. III. 1874. 8. George Cecil Weld (Weld-Forester), Baron Forester of Willey Park, next br. and h., 6. 10 May 1807, in Sackville street, and bap. 11 June at St. James', Westm. ; ed. at Westm. school ; entered the amy, 1824, retiring as General in 1877, having been Lieut. Col. of the Horse Guards, 1853 ; M.P. for Wenlock, 1828-74 ; sometime Groom of the Bedchamber ; Comptroller of the Household, March to Dec. 1852, and again 1858-59 ; P.O., 3852. He m. 8 Nov. 1862, at St. James', Westm., Mary Anne, widow of David Ochterlony Dyce Sombrf., da. of Euward-Jervis (Jervis), 2d Viscount St. Vincent, by his second wife, Mary Anne, da. of Thomas Parker. He d. s.p. at 3 Carlton Gardens, Midx., 14 Feb. 1886, aged 78, and was bur. at Willey. WiU pr. (at Shrewsbury) July 1886 under £70,000. His widow living 1890. Sir John Stuart Forbes, 8th Bart. [S.], of Monymusk, whose great grandfather (the 5th Bart.), was s. and h. of Sir William F., the 4th Bart., by Mary, da. of the 3d and only sister of the 4th Lord, which Mary subsequently m. the 15th Lord Forbes [S.] This Sir John d. s.p.m. 1866, leaving an only da. and h., the Baroness Clinton. The heir male collateral of the grantee of 1633 is presumed to be the family of Forbes, of Newe, Baronets (cr. 1823) in right of descent from William Forbes, of Daueh and New, yr. br. of Sir John Forbes, of Pitsligo, from whom tho 1st Lord was 5th in descent.
