(Civil), 1S29 ; M.P. for Canterbury, 1S35--11, and 1847-50 ; took the name of Denison in lieu of that of Conynyham by Royal lie, 4 Sep. 1849, in compliance with the will of his maternal uncle, William Joseph Denison, of Seamer, co. York (most of whose vast estates he inherited) and was cr., 4 March 1850, BARON LONDES BO ROUGH iu the East Riding, co. York.
