He was slain at the battle of Evesham, 4 Aug. 1265, leaving an only s. ami h., John St. John, who was never sum. to Pari, and who d. s.p. Barony by 1. John St. John, of Lageham, co. Surrey, and of Writ. John (St. John), Lord Saint John de Lageham, s. and h , aged 36 at his father's death. He, who was in the expedi- tion to Scotland in 1317-18, was sum. to Pari, from 20 Nov. (1317), 11 Ed. II., to 18 Sep. (1322), 16 Ed. II., by writs directed "Johanni dc S. Johanne de Lageham." He m. Margaret. He d. 23 April (1323), 16 Ed. II. Each., 13 Ed. II. His widow m. John dk Ifibld and d. (1346), 20 Ed. III. III. 1323. 3. John (St. John), Lord Saint John de Lageham, s. and h., aged 15 at his father's death in 1323. He was sum. to Pari, by writs directed " Johanni dc S. Johnnnc " (without the addition of " de Lageham ") from 1 Aug. (1327), 1 Ed. III., to 18 Feb. (1330/1), 5 Ed.
