Divine commission cannot be obtained by mere imagination. Verily I say, the Lord can Divine com- mission. be realized and He will speak to thee. Then thou mayest receive His com- mission. What great power lies in such Divine command! By it mountains may be shaken to their foundation. What can a mere ordinary lecture do? People may listen to it for a time, but they will soon forget it. It will not produce a lasting impression and they will not live according to it.

For the teaching of Divine truths a badge of authority is indispensable. A man who tries to teach others without it will be laughed at.
