THe Eftares of Parliament having confidered His Majefties Revocation , paft under His Royal hand, and this day prefented to them by His Majefties Advocat, Do Ordain the fame to be recorded in the Books of Parliament ; whereoi the tenour followeth. i CHARLES R. WE C H A R L ES , by the grace of GOT), King of Great Britain , France and Ireland , Defen- der of the Faith , taking to our confederation , That during the time of the late troubles , and by occajion thereof, many Writes , Declarations , Ratifications and other Deeds may have paft Our hands, to the prejudice of the Church , Our Eft ate , Patrimony, and juft intereft of our Subjects, and derogatory to our honour , the privi ledges of our Crown, and dignity of ourPerfon, either before we at- tained to the age of twenty one years or thereafter ; as alfo , that many Deeds might have paft our Royal Fathers hands during the late wars , to the enorm hurt and lefeon of His Sacred <_Majefty > in all the particular wayes above expreft , which by the Laws of this our Kingdom can no wayes be binding, or obligatory againft us , but by vertue of the f aids Laws mayberevocked.
