" Bar 89 is impossible as you propose, because on the fljj and gfll, &c., there must be no words pro- nounced ; they mnst be slurred notes, as in the German wording, and moreover they must be sung on a good syllable (no " u," or " 0," or, &c.)- So I should propose : —
