To amend the Social Security Act and related Acts to make miscellaneous and technical amendments, and for other purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the "Social Security Act Amendments of 1994". SEC. 2. REFERENCES IN ACT; TABLE OF CONTENTS. (a) AMENDMENTS TO SOCIAL SECURITY ACT.— Except as otherwise specifically provided, whenever in this Act an amendment is expressed in terms of an amendment to or repeal of a section or other provision, the reference shall be considered to be made to that section or other provision of the Social Security Act. (b) REFERENCES TO OBRA. —In this Act, the terms "OBRA- 1986", "OBRA-1987", "OBRA-1989", "OBRA-1990", and "OBRA- 1993" refer to the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1986 (Public Law 99-509), the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 (Public Law 100-203), the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1989 (Public Law 101-239), the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 (Public Law 101-508), and the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 (Public Law 103-66), respectively.
