The Act of Congress approved March 22, 1926, entitled "An Act granting the consent of Congress to the highway department of the State of Alabama to construct a bridge across Elk River on the Athens -Flore nce road betw een Lauder dale and L imestone Counties, Alabama," is hereby repealed . SEC. 3. That the right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved . Approved, February 16, 1928 . CHAP . 61 .-An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the State high- way department of the State of Ala bama to construct, m aintain, and operate a free highway bridge across the Coosa River at or near Wetumpka, Elmore County, Alabama . Be it enacted by the Senate and House o f Representatives o f the Uni ted S tates of Am erica in Co ngres s ass embled , That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the State highway department of the State of Alabama to construct, maintain, and operate a free highway bridge and approaches thereto across the Coosa River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation, at or near Wetumpka, in the county of Elmore, in the State of Alabama, in accordance with the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to regulate the con- struction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906 . SEC . 2 . The Act of Congress approved March 22, 1926, entitled "An Act granting the consent of Congress to the State highway de- partment of the State of Alabama to co nstruct a brid ge across the Coos a Rive r near Wetu mpka, Elmore Count y, Al abama, " is h ereby repealed . SEC . 3 . The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved . Approved, February 16, 1928 . CHAP . 62 .-An Act Granting the consent of Congress to the Chicago and North Western Railway Company, a c orporation, its succ essors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a railroad bridge across the Rock River . Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the consent of Congress is hereby granted to the Chicago and North Western Railway Company, a corporation of the State of Illinois, its suc- cessors and assigns, to construct, maintain, and operate a railroad bridge and approaches thereto across the Rock River at a point suitable to the interests of navigation in section 19, township 21 north, range 8 east of the fourth principal meridian, the same being in Palmyra and Nelson Townships, Lee County, Illinois, in accord- ance with the provisions of an Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the construction of bridges over navigable waters," approved March 23, 1906 . SEC . 2. The right to sell, assign, transfer, and mortgage all the rights, powers, and privileges conferred by this Act is hereby granted to the Chicago and North Western Railway Company, its .successors and assigns, and any corporation to which such rights, powers, and privileges may be sold, assigned, or transferred, or which shall acquire the same by mortgage foreclosure or otherwise, is her eby authorized to exercise the same as fully as though conferred herein directly upon such corporation . SEC . 3 . The right to alter, amend, or repeal this Act is hereby expressly reserved . Approved, February 16, 1928 .
