If, however, the rates of duty on sugar or tobacco specified in Column 2 of Schedule II annexed to this Agreement shall be in- creased in accordance with the provisions set forth in the notes to paragraphs 501 or 605 of the said Schedule, this Agreement may be terminated by the Gov- ernment of either country by giving notice to the other Gov- ernment of an intention to termi- nate it at the expiration of thirty days from the date of such notice.
