NICARAGUA-RECIPROCAL TRADE-MARCH 11, 1936 Nicaragua, effected by exchange of notes signed on June 11, 1924, and July 11, 1924, respectively. ARTICLE XVII The present Agreement shall come into full force on the thir- tieth day following proclamation thereof by the President of the United States of America and the President of the Republic of Nicaragua, or should the procla- mations be issued on different days, on the thirtieth day follow- ing the date of the later in time of such proclamations, and shall remain in force for the term of three years thereafter, unless ter- minated pursuant to the provi- sions of Article VI, Article IX, or Article XII. The Government of each country shall notify the Gov- ernment of the other country of the date of its proclamation. Unless at least six months be- fore the expiration of the afore- said term of three years the Gov- ernment of either country shall have given to the other Govern- ment notice of intention to ter- minate this Agreement upon the expiration of the aforesaid term, the Agreement shall remain in force thereafter, subject to ter- mination under the provisions of Article VI, Article IX, or Article XII, until six months from such time as the Government of either country shall have given notice to the other Government. In witness whereof the respec- tive Plenipotentiaries have signed this Agreement and have affxed their seals hereto. El presente Convenio deber dEffective date and entrar en pleno vigor treinta dias despues de su promulgaci6n por el Presidente de los Estados Unidos de America y por el Presidente de la Repiblica de Nicaragua, o, en caso que las promulgaciones sean en fechas distintas, treinta dias despues de la fecha de la promulgaci6n que sea hecha por ultimo, y debera permanecer en vigor por el termino de tres ainos, a menos que se de por terminado de acuerdo con lo estipulado en los Articulos VI, IX o XII. El Ante, PP. 1416 , 1419, Gobierno de cada pais deber 1422 participar al Gobierno del otro la fecha de su promulgaci6n. Siempre que al menos con seis meses de anticipaci6n a la fecha de expiraci6n del expresado ter- mino de tres alios el Gobierno de uno u otro de los paises contra- tantes no haya dado aviso al otro Gobierno de su intenci6n de dar por concluido este Convenio a la expiraci6n del susodicho termino, este Convenio permanecera en vi- gor de ahi en adelante sujeto a ser terminado conforme a las disposi- ciones de los Articulos VI, IX y XII, hasta seis meses despues de la fecha en que el Gobierno de uno u otro pais haya dado aviso al otro Gobierno. En fe de lo cual los respectivos Plenipotenciarios han firmado este Convenio y le han puesto sus sellos.
