JUDGMENTS For the payment of final judgments, including costs, rendered against the District of Columbia, as set forth in Senate Document Numbered 90, together with such further sum as may be necessary to pay the interest at not exceeding 4 per centum per annum on such judgments, as provided by law, from the date the same became due until the date of payment, $2,916.86. DIVISION OF EXPENSES The foregoing sums for the District of Columbia, unless otherwise therein specifically provided, shall be paid out of the revenues of the District of Columbia and the Treasury of the United States in the manner prescribed by the District of Columbia Appropriation Acts for the respective fiscal years for which such sums are provided. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE In order to provide assistance to farmers whose property was destroyed or damaged, in whole or in part, by floods in 1943, the Secretary of Agriculture is authorized to utilize the facilities of any existing agency or bureau to provide assistance to any such farmer by loans, in such manner and upon such terms and conditions as the Secre- tary of Agriculture may prescribe, for the purpose of aiding such farmer to continue farming operations in order to produce for the war effort, including personal services in the District of Columbia and elsewhere, printing and binding, travel, and other miscellaneous and incidental expenses, fiscal year 1944, $15,000,000: Provided,That not more than ten per centum of the foregoing amount shall be used for administrative expenses. NAVY DEPARTMENT OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY Claims for damages by collision with naval vessels: To pay claims for damages adjulsted and letermlile(l by the Secretary of the Navy under the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to amend the Act authorizing the Secretary of the Navy to settle claims for damages to private property arising from collisions with naval vessels", 42 stat. o10e. approved December 28, 1922, as fully set forth in Senate Document 34U. COAST GUARD Claims for damages, operation of vessels, Coast Guard: To pay claims for damages adjusted and determined by the Secretary of the Navy under the provisions of the Act entitled "An Act to provide for the adjustment and settlement of certain claims for damages resulting from the operation of vessels of the Coast Guard and the Public Health Service, in sums not exceeding $3,000 in any one case", 49 .
