[CHAPTER 260] AN ACT To amend the Pay Readjustment Act of 1942, approved June 16, 1942. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That section 15 of the Pay Readjustment Act of 1942, approved June 16, 1942, is hereby amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: 'The retired pay of any officer of the Army retired between the dates of June 29, 1922, and January 1, 1923, who served in any capacity as a member of the military or naval forces of the United States prior to November 12, 1918, who has not less than ten years' commissioned service, shall be 75 per centum of his active duty pay." SEc. 2 . No back pay, allowances, or other emoluments shall be held to accrue for any period prior to the enactment of this Act as a result of the enactment of the foregoing amendment.
