Smithsonian Institution.

Providing for the appointment of William G. Bowen as a citizen regent of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution.

Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That the vacancy in the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution, of the class other than Members of Congress, caused by the death of Doctor John Nicholas Brown of Rhode Island on October 9, 1979, be filled by the appointment of William G. Bowen of New Jersey for the statutory term of six years. Approved March 13, 1980.
