RITCHIE, Bell T., (Miss), bom in Glasgow, Scotland, daughter of John and Mary Russell Ritchie, a resident of California for 23 years. Musician. Vocalist. Has traveled extensively and knows the out-of-the-way corners of the British Isles, studying the lives of the people, investigating their folklore and rich musical inheritance. Has served for 16 years as president of the Fresno iMiusical Club and during this time has established for Fresno the reputation of one of the leading musical centers of the West. In charge of California state educational exhibit Panama Pacific International Exposition, San Francisco 1915; contributor of articles on Exposition to Sierra Educational News 1915.
