| In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Merciful. | Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi | |
| 050:001 | Q, and the Quran of glory. | Qaf waalqur-ani almajeedi |
| 050:002 | Are they surprised that a warner has come to them from amongst them, so the rejecters said: "This is something strange!" | Bal AAajiboo an jaahum munthirun minhum faqala alkafiroona hatha shay-on AAajeebun |
| 050:003 | "Can it be that when we are dead and we become dust, that we come back later?" | A-itha mitna wakunna turaban thalika rajAAun baAAeedun |
| 050:004 | We know which of them has become consumed with the Earth; and We have with Us a record which keeps track. | Qad AAalimna ma tanqusu al-ardu minhum waAAindana kitabun hafeethun |
| 050:005 | But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused state. | Bal kaththaboo bialhaqqi lamma jaahum fahum fee amrin mareejin |
| 050:006 | Did they not look to the sky above them, how We built it, and adorned it, and how it has no openings? | Afalam yanthuroo ila alssama-i fawqahum kayfa banaynaha wazayyannaha wama laha min furoojin |
| 050:007 | And the land We extended it, and placed in it stabilizers, and We gave growth in it to every kind of healthy pair. | Waal-arda madadnaha waalqayna feeha rawasiya waanbatna feeha min kulli zawjin baheejin |
| 050:008 | Something to see and a reminder for every pious servant. | Tabsiratan wathikra likulli AAabdin muneebin |
| 050:009 | And We sent down from the sky blessed water, and We gave growth with it to gardens and grain that is harvested. | Wanazzalna mina alssama-i maan mubarakan faanbatna bihi jannatin wahabba alhaseedi |
| 050:010 | And the palm trees, emerging with clustering fruit. | Waalnnakhla basiqatin laha talAAun nadeedun |
| 050:011 | A provision for the servants, and We gave life with it to the land which was dead. Such is the resurrection. | Rizqan lilAAibadi waahyayna bihi baldatan maytan kathalika alkhurooju |
| 050:012 | Before their denial was that of the people of Noah, and the dwellers of Al-Raas, and Thamud. | Kaththabat qablahum qawmu noohin waas-habu alrrassi wathamoodu |
| 050:013 | And 'Aad, and Pharaoh, and the brethren of Lot. | WaAAadun wafirAAawnu wa-ikhwanu lootin |
| 050:014 | And the people of the forest, and the people of Tubba`. All of them disbelieved the messengers, so the promise came to pass. | Waas-habu al-aykati waqawmu tubbaAAin kullun kaththaba alrrusula fahaqqa waAAeedi |
| 050:015 | Did We have any difficulty in making the first creation? No, they are in confusion about the next creation. | AfaAAayeena bialkhalqi al-awwali bal hum fee labsin min khalqin jadeedin |

| 050:016 | And We have created man and We know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than his jugular vein. | Walaqad khalaqna al-insana wanaAAlamu ma tuwaswisu bihi nafsuhu wanahnu aqrabu ilayhi min habli alwareedi |
| 050:017 | When the two receivers meet on the right and on the left. | Ith yatalaqqa almutalaqqiyani AAani alyameeni waAAani alshshimali qaAAeedun |
| 050:018 | He does not utter a word except with having a constant recorder. | Ma yalfithu min qawlin illa ladayhi raqeebun AAateedun |
| 050:019 | And the moment of death came in truth: "This is what you have been trying to avoid!" | Wajaat sakratu almawti bialhaqqi thalika ma kunta minhu taheedu |
| 050:020 | And the horn is blown on the promised Day. | Wanufikha fee alssoori thalika yawmu alwaAAeedi |
| 050:021 | And every soul is brought, being driven, and with a witness. | Wajaat kullu nafsin maAAaha sa-iqun washaheedun |
| 050:022 | "You were heedless of this, so now We have removed your veil, and your sight today is iron!" | Laqad kunta fee ghaflatin min hatha fakashafna AAanka ghitaaka fabasaruka alyawma hadeedun |
| 050:023 | And his constant companion said: "Here is one who is a transgressor." | Waqala qareenuhu hatha ma ladayya AAateedun |
| 050:024 | Cast in Hell every stubborn rejecter. | Alqiya fee jahannama kulla kaffarin AAaneedin |
| 050:025 | Denier of good, transgressor, doubter. | MannaAAin lilkhayri muAAtadin mureebin |
| 050:026 | The one who made with God another god. So cast him into the severe retribution. | Allathee jaAAala maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara faalqiyahu fee alAAathabi alshshadeedi |
| 050:027 | His constant companion said: "Our Lord, I did not corrupt him, but he was already far astray." | Qala qareenuhu rabbana ma atghaytuhu walakin kana fee dalalin baAAeedin |
| 050:028 | He said: "Do not argue with each other before Me, I have already presented you with My promise." | Qala la takhtasimoo ladayya waqad qaddamtu ilaykum bialwaAAeedi |
| 050:029 | "The sentence will not be changed with Me, and I do not wrong the servants." | Ma yubaddalu alqawlu ladayya wama ana bithallamin lilAAabeedi |

| 050:030 | The Day We say to Hell: "Are you full?", and it says: "I can take more." | Yawma naqoolu lijahannama hali imtala/ti wataqoolu hal min mazeedin |
| 050:031 | And Paradise is brought near to the righteous, not far off. | Waozlifati aljannatu lilmuttaqeena ghayra baAAeedin |
| 050:032 | This is what you have been promised, for every obedient, steadfast | Hatha ma tooAAadoona likulli awwabin hafeethin |
| 050:033 | The one who feared the Almighty while unseen, and came with a repenting heart | Man khashiya alrrahmana bialghaybi wajaa biqalbin muneebin |
| 050:034 | Enter it in peace. This is the Day of eternal life. | Odkhulooha bisalamin thalika yawmu alkhuloodi |
| 050:035 | In it they will have what they wish, and We have even more. | Lahum ma yashaoona feeha waladayna mazeedun |
| 050:036 | And how many a generation before them have We destroyed? They were stronger in power, and they had dominated the land. Did they find any sanctuary? | Wakam ahlakna qablahum min qarnin hum ashaddu minhum batshan fanaqqaboo fee albiladi hal min maheesin |
| 050:037 | In that is a reminder for whoever has a heart, or cares to listen while he is heedful. | Inna fee thalika lathikra liman kana lahu qalbun aw alqa alssamAAa wahuwa shaheedun |
| 050:038 | And We have created the heavens and the Earth and what is between them in six days, and no fatigue touched Us. | Walaqad khalaqna alssamawati waal-arda wama baynahuma fee sittati ayyamin wama massana min lughoobin |
| 050:039 | So be patient to what they are saying, and glorify the grace of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before the setting. | Faisbir AAala ma yaqooloona wasabbih bihamdi rabbika qabla tulooAAi alshshamsi waqabla alghuroobi |
| 050:040 | And from the night glorify Him, and after prostrating. | Wamina allayli fasabbihhu waadbara alssujoodi |
| 050:041 | And listen to the Day when the caller will call from a near place. | WaistamiAA yawma yunadi almunadi min makanin qareebin |
| 050:042 | The Day they hear the scream with truth. That is the Day of coming out. | Yawma yasmaAAoona alssayhata bialhaqqi thalika yawmu alkhurooji |
| 050:043 | We are the Ones who give life and bring death, and to Us is the destiny. | Inna nahnu nuhyee wanumeetu wa-ilayna almaseeru |
| 050:044 | The Day when the Earth will rapidly crumble away from them; that will be a gathering which is easy for Us. | Yawma tashaqqaqu al-ardu AAanhum siraAAan thalika hashrun AAalayna yaseerun |
| 050:045 | We are totally aware of what they say, and you are not to be a tyrant over them. So remind with the Quran those who fear My promise. | Nahnu aAAlamu bima yaqooloona wama anta AAalayhim bijabbarin fathakkir bialqur-ani man yakhafu waAAeedi |
