| In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Merciful. | Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi | |
| 051:001 | By the winds that blow. | Waalththariyati tharwan |
| 051:002 | Carrying rain. | Faalhamilati wiqran |
| 051:003 | Travelling easily. | Faaljariyati yusran |
| 051:004 | Distributing as commanded. | Faalmuqassimati amran |
| 051:005 | What you are being promised is true. | Innama tooAAadoona lasadiqun |
| 051:006 | And the Judgment will come to pass. | Wa-inna alddeena lawaqiAAun |
| 051:007 | By the sky that is clear. | Waalssama-i thati alhubuki |
| 051:008 | You are saying what is different. | Innakum lafee qawlin mukhtalifin |
| 051:009 | To mislead those who are misled. | Yu/faku AAanhu man ofika |
| 051:010 | Woe to the deceitful. | Qutila alkharrasoona |
| 051:011 | Who are in mischief, unaware. | Allatheena hum fee ghamratin sahoona |
| 051:012 | They ask: "When is the Day of Judgment?" | Yas-aloona ayyana yawmu alddeeni |
| 051:013 | The Day they ordeal upon the Fire. | Yawma hum AAala alnnari yuftanoona |
| 051:014 | "Taste this ordeal of yours; this is what you asked to be hastened." | Thooqoo fitnatakum hatha allathee kuntum bihi tastaAAjiloona |
| 051:015 | The righteous are in paradises and springs. | Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin |
| 051:016 | Receiving what their Lord has bestowed to them, for they were before that pious. | Akhitheena ma atahum rabbuhum innahum kanoo qabla thalika muhsineena |
| 051:017 | They used to rarely sleep the whole night. | Kanoo qaleelan mina allayli ma yahjaAAoona |
| 051:018 | And before dawn, they would seek forgiveness. | Wabial-ashari hum yastaghfiroona |
| 051:019 | An in their money was a portion for the beggar and the needy. | Wafee amwalihim haqqun lilssa-ili waalmahroomi |
| 051:020 | And in the Earth are signs for those who comprehend. | Wafee al-ardi ayatun lilmooqineena |
| 051:021 | And within yourselves; do you not see? | Wafee anfusikum afala tubsiroona |
| 051:022 | And in the heaven is your provision, and what you are promised. | Wafee alssama-i rizqukum wama tooAAadoona |
| 051:023 | By the Lord of the heaven and the Earth, this is truth just as the fact that you speak. | Fawarabbi alssama-i waal-ardi innahu lahaqqun mithla ma annakum tantiqoona |

| 051:024 | Has the story of Abraham's noble guests come to you? | Hal ataka hadeethu dayfi ibraheema almukrameena |
| 051:025 | When they entered upon him, they said: "Peace." He said: "Peace to a people unknown!" | Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala salamun qawmun munkaroona |
| 051:026 | Then he went to his family and brought a fat roasted calf. | Faragha ila ahlihi fajaa biAAijlin sameenin |
| 051:027 | He offered it to them, he said: "Do you not eat?" | Faqarrabahu ilayhim qala ala ta/kuloona |
| 051:028 | He then became fearful of them. They said: "Do not fear," and they gave him good news of a knowledgeable son. | Faawjasa minhum kheefatan qaloo la takhaf wabashsharoohu bighulamin AAaleemin |
| 051:029 | His wife then approached in amazement. She slapped upon her face, and said: "I am a sterile old woman!" | Faaqbalati imraatuhu fee sarratin fasakkat wajhaha waqalat AAajoozun AAaqeemun |
| 051:030 | They said: "It was such that your Lord has said. He is the Wise, the Knowledgeable." | Qaloo kathaliki qala rabbuki innahu huwa alhakeemu alAAaleemu |
| 051:031 | He said: "What is your undertaking, O messengers?" | Qala fama khatbukum ayyuha almursaloona |
| 051:032 | They said: "We have been sent to a criminal people." | Qaloo inna orsilna ila qawmin mujrimeena |
| 051:033 | "To send down upon them rocks of clay." | Linursila AAalayhim hijaratan min teenin |
| 051:034 | "Prepared by your Lord for the transgressors." | Musawwamatan AAinda rabbika lilmusrifeena |
| 051:035 | We then vacated from it all the believers. | Faakhrajna man kana feeha mina almu/mineena |
| 051:036 | But We only found in it one house of those who had surrendered. | Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena |
| 051:037 | And We have left in it a sign for those who fear the painful retribution. | Watarakna feeha ayatan lillatheena yakhafoona alAAathaba al-aleema |
| 051:038 | And also Moses, for We sent him to Pharaoh with a clear authority. | Wafee moosa ith arsalnahu ila firAAawna bisultanin mubeenin |
| 051:039 | But he turned away, in arrogance, and he said: "A magician, or crazy." | Fatawalla biruknihi waqala sahirun aw majnoonun |
| 051:040 | So We took him and his troops; We cast them into the sea, and he was to blame. | Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi wahuwa muleemun |
| 051:041 | And also 'Aad, for We sent upon them the hurricane wind. | Wafee AAadin ith arsalna AAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema |
| 051:042 | Anything that it came upon was utterly destroyed. | Ma tatharu min shay-in atat AAalayhi illa jaAAalat-hu kaalrrameemi |
| 051:043 | And also Thamud, for it was said to them: "Enjoy for a while." | Wafee thamooda ith qeela lahum tamattaAAoo hatta heenin |
| 051:044 | But they rebelled against the command of their Lord. So the lightning struck them while they were looking. | FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathat-humu alssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona |
| 051:045 | They were unable to rise up, nor could they win. | Fama istataAAoo min qiyamin wama kanoo muntasireena |
| 051:046 | And the people of Noah before; they were a wicked people. | Waqawma noohin min qablu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena |

| 051:047 | And We constructed the universe using matter, and We will expand it. | Waalssamaa banaynaha bi-aydin wa-inna lamoosiAAoona |
| 051:048 | And the Earth We furnished; glory be to the Makers. | Waal-arda farashnaha faniAAma almahidoona |
| 051:049 | And from everything We created a pair, perhaps you may remember. | Wamin kulli shay-in khalaqna zawjayni laAAallakum tathakkaroona |
| 051:050 | So turn towards God. I am to you from Him a clear warner. | Fafirroo ila Allahi innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun |
| 051:051 | And do not make any other god with God. I am to you from Him a clear warner. | Wala tajAAaloo maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun |
| 051:052 | Likewise, when a messenger went to those before them, they said: "A magician, or crazy." | Kathalika ma ata allatheena min qablihim min rasoolin illa qaloo sahirun aw majnoonun |
| 051:053 | Have they passed down this saying to each other? Indeed, they are a wicked people. | Atawasaw bihi bal hum qawmun taghoona |
| 051:054 | So turn away from them; you will not be blamed. | Fatawalla AAanhum fama anta bimaloomin |
| 051:055 | And remind, for the reminder benefits the believers. | Wathakkir fa-inna alththikra tanfaAAu almu/mineena |
| 051:056 | I did not create the Jinn and the humans except to serve Me. | Wama khalaqtu aljinna waal-insa illa liyaAAbudooni |
| 051:057 | I need no provisions from them, nor do I need them to give food. | Ma oreedu minhum min rizqin wama oreedu an yutAAimooni |
| 051:058 | God is the Provider, the One with Power, the Supreme. | Inna Allaha huwa alrrazzaqu thoo alquwwati almateenu |
| 051:059 | The transgressors will have the same fate as their previous friends; so let them not be hasty. | Fa-inna lillatheena thalamoo thanooban mithla thanoobi as-habihim fala yastaAAjiloona |
| 051:060 | So woe to those who rejected from the Day that is waiting for them. | Fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min yawmihimu allathee yooAAadoona |
