	In the name of God, the Almighty, the Most Merciful.	Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
074:001	O you blanketed one.	Ya ayyuha almuddaththiru
074:002	Stand and warn.	Qum faanthir
074:003	And your Lord glorify.	Warabbaka fakabbir
074:004	And purify your outer garments.	Wathiyabaka fatahhir
074:005	And leave all that is vile.	Waalrrujza faohjur
074:006	And do not give expecting something in return.	Wala tamnun tastakthiru
074:007	And to your Lord be patient.	Walirabbika faisbir
074:008	So when the trumpet is sounded.	Fa-itha nuqira fee alnnaqoori
074:009	That will be a very difficult Day.	Fathalika yawma-ithin yawmun AAaseerun
074:010	Upon the rejecters it will not be easy.	AAala alkafireena ghayru yaseerin
074:011	So leave Me alone with the one I have created.	Tharnee waman khalaqtu waheedan
074:012	And I gave him abundant wealth.	WajaAAaltu lahu malan mamdoodan
074:013	And children to bear witness.	Wabaneena shuhoodan
074:014	And I made everything comfortable for him.	Wamahhadtu lahu tamheedan
074:015	Then he is greedy wanting that I give more.	Thumma yatmaAAu an azeeda
074:016	No. He was stubborn to Our revelations.	Kalla innahu kana li-ayatina AAaneedan
074:017	I will exhaust him in climbing.	Saorhiquhu saAAoodan
074:018	He thought and he analyzed.	Innahu fakkara waqaddara
074:019	So woe to him for how he thought.	Faqutila kayfa qaddara
074:020	Then woe to him for how he thought.	Thumma qutila kayfa qaddara
074:021	Then he looked.	Thumma nathara
074:022	Then he frowned and became bad tempered.	Thumma AAabasa wabasara
074:023	Then he turned away and was arrogant.	Thumma adbara waistakbara
074:024	So he said: "This is nothing but the magic of old."	Faqala in hatha illa sihrun yu/tharu
074:025	"This is nothing but the words of a human."	In hatha illa qawlu albashari
074:026	I will cast him in the Scorching heat.	Saosleehi saqara
074:027	And do you know what is Scorching heat?	Wama adraka ma saqaru
074:028	It does not spare nor leave anything.	La tubqee wala tatharu
074:029	A scorcher of mankind.	Lawwahatun lilbashari
074:030	Upon it is nineteen.	AAalayha tisAAata AAashara
074:031	And We have made the guardians of the Fire to be Angels; and We did not make their number except as a test for those who have rejected, so that those who were given the Scripture would understand, and those who have faith would be increased in faith, and so that those who have been given the Scripture and the believers do not have doubt, and so that those who have a sickness in their hearts and the rejecters would Say: "What did God mean with an example such as this?" It is such that God misguides whom He wishes, and He guides whom He wishes. And none know your Lord's soldiers except Him. And it is but a reminder for mankind.	Wama jaAAalna as-haba alnnari illa mala-ikatan wama jaAAalna AAiddatahum illa fitnatan lillatheena kafaroo liyastayqina allatheena ootoo alkitaba wayazdada allatheena amanoo eemanan wala yartaba allatheena ootoo alkitaba waalmu/minoona waliyaqoola allatheena fee quloobihim maradun waalkafiroona matha arada Allahu bihatha mathalan kathalika yudillu Allahu man yashao wayahdee man yashao wama yaAAlamu junooda rabbika illa huwa wama hiya illa thikra lilbashari

074:032	No, by the moon.	Kalla waalqamari
074:033	And by the night when it withdraws.	Waallayli ith adbara
074:034	And by the morning when it brightens.	Waalssubhi itha asfara
074:035	It is one of the great ones.	Innaha la-ihda alkubari
074:036	A warning to mankind.	Natheeran lilbashari
074:037	For any among you who wishes to advance or regress.	Liman shaa minkum an yataqaddama aw yataakhkhara
074:038	Every soul is held by what it earned.	Kullu nafsin bima kasabat raheenatun
074:039	Except for the people of the right.	Illa as-haba alyameeni
074:040	In paradises they will ask one another.	Fee jannatin yatasaaloona
074:041	About the criminals.	AAani almujrimeena
074:042	"What has caused you to be in the scorching heat?"	Ma salakakum fee saqara
074:043	They said: "We were not of those who reached out."	Qaloo lam naku mina almusalleena
074:044	"And we did not feed the poor person."	Walam naku nutAAimu almiskeena
074:045	"And we used to participate with those who spoke falsehood."	Wakunna nakhoodu maAAa alkha-ideena
074:046	"And we used to deny the Day of Judgment."	Wakunna nukaththibu biyawmi alddeeni
074:047	"Until the certainty came to us."	Hatta atana alyaqeenu
074:048	So no intercession of intercessors can help them.	Fama tanfaAAuhum shafaAAatu alshshafiAAeena
074:049	Why have they turned away from being reminded?	Fama lahum AAani alttathkirati muAArideena
074:050	They are like fleeing zebras.	Kaannahum humurun mustanfiratun
074:051	Running from the lion.	Farrat min qaswaratin
074:052	Alas, every one of them wants to be given separate scriptures.	Bal yureedu kullu imri-in minhum an yu/ta suhufan munashsharatan
074:053	No, they do not fear the Hereafter.	Kalla bal la yakhafoona al-akhirata
074:054	No, it is a reminder.	Kalla innahu tathkiratun
074:055	So whosoever wishes will remember it.	Faman shaa thakarahu
074:056	And none will remember except if God wills. He is the source of righteousness and the source of forgiveness.	Wama yathkuroona illa an yashaa Allahu huwa ahlu alttaqwa waahlu almaghfirati
