Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 51 and I-80 north of LaSalle, then easterly over I-80 to the intersection of a newly constructed facility, then northerly over the new facility to the intersection of U.S. Route 51 near the Illinois State Line. Designate present U.S. 51 between these points as U.S. Route 251.
KANSAS
Relocation of U.S. Route 59

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 59 and a point 7 miles south of Ottawa, then southeasterly along the new alignment to the intersection of U.S. Route 59 south of Ottawa.
Relocation of U.S. Route 77

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 77 and a new facility north of Winfield, then southerly over the new facility to the intersection of U.S. 77 just north of Winfield. Also, beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 77 and a new facility in Winfield, then southerly over the new facility to the intersection of U.S. 77 at Arkansas City.

Extension of I-49

Extend I-49 from the present terminus at the intersection of U.S. Route 190 and U.S. Route 167 in Opelousas, then southerly over U.S. Route 167 to the intersection of I-10 near Lafayette.
Relocation of U.S. Route 71

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 71 and a newly constructed facility northwest of Pineville, then southeasterly over the new facility to the intersection of present U.S. Route 71 north of Pineville.
Elimination of U.S. Route 71 Business
APPROVED
Eliminate the U.S. Route 71 Business designation between the intersection of U.S. Route 71 west of Alexandria and the intersection of U.S. Route 71 east of Alexandria.
Relocation of U.S. Route 167

Beginning at the intersection of U.S. Route 167 and U.S. Route 165 Business near Pineville, then southerly over U.S. Route 165 Business to the intersection of present U.S. Route 71 south of Alexandria.
MARYLAND
Relocation of U.S. Route 40 and establishment of an alternate route

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 40 and a State Road at Keyser's Ridge, then southerly along the State Road to the intersection of U.S. Route 48, then easterly over U.S. Route 48 to the intersection of U.S. Route 40 in Cumberland. Designate present U.S. 40 between these points as U.S. 40 Alternate.
Relocation of U.S. Route 220

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 220 and U.S. Route 48 in Cumberland, then northeasterly over U.S. 48 for a distance of 4.4 miles to the intersection of a roadway, then northwesterly along this facility to the intersection of present U.S. 220.
I-97 and I-197 renumbering

Renumber as I-68 presently designated I-97 from the intersection of I-95 northwest of Washington, D.C. to the intersection of I-197 west of Annapolis. Also, renumber as I-168 presently designated I-197 from the intersection of present I-97 west of Annapolis to the terminus of I-197 west of Annapolis.
OHIO
Extension of I-670 and establishment of directional alternate
APPROVED WITH NO DIRECTIONAL ALTERNATE DESIGNATIONS
Beginning at the intersection of present I-670, I-71 and a new facility in Columbus, then easterly over the new facility to the intersection at U.S. Route 62, then northeasterly along U.S. 62 for 2.2 miles.
OKLAHOMA
Relocation of U.S. Route 70 and Establishment of a Business Route
APPROVED
Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 70 and U.S. Route 271 west of Hugo, then southeasterly over U.S. 271 to the intersection of a newly constructed facility, then easterly over the new facility to the intersection of U.S. 70.
TENNESSEE
Extension of U.S. 321

Beginning at the present terminus of U.S. Route 321 at Johnson City, then southwesterly over U.S. 115 to the intersection of U.S. 411 at Greeneville, then southwesterly over U.S. 411 to the intersection of State Road 32 at Newport, then southerly along SR 32 to the intersection of I-40, then southerly along I-40 to the intersection of SR 32, then southerly along SR 32 to the intersection of SR 73, then westerly along SR 73 to the intersection of U.S. 441, then northerly over U.S. 441 to an intersection south of Pine Grove, then southwesterly along a State Route to the intersection of SR 73, then westerly along SR 73 to the intersection of SR 95, then westerly along SR 95 to the intersection of I-40 south of Oak Ridge.

Relocation of U.S. Route 33

Beginning at the intersection of present U.S. Route 33 and Hacock and Harrison Streets in Richmond, then northeasterly along Harrison and Hancock Streets to the intersection of Leigh Street, then southwesterly along Leigh Street to a new terminus at the intersection of SR 33.
IOWA-SOUTH DAKOTA
Elimination of U.S. Route 77

Eliminate the U.S. Route 77 designation between the present terminus in South Dakota and the Iowa-Nebraska State Line in Sioux City.
