EDWARD COLLINS, Esq.
[Commander.]

Obtained his first commission in Dec. 1800; and served as flag-lieutenant to Rear-Admiral Penrose, during the operations on the north coast of Spain, in 1814[1]. He subsequently acted as commander of the Martial sloop, employed in the river Gironde[2]. This officer married, in 1809, the eldest daughter of T. Carlyon, of Trogehan, co. Cornwall. Esq.
