How is this in the public domain?

Since this was published after 1926 (m 1933) and since Arthur Rackham hasn't been dead for 100 years yet (he died in 1939), how is this in the public domain? Simon Peter Hughes (talk) 02:18, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Simon Peter Hughes It was a miracle in copyright investigations. See this from ws copyright discussions: Wikisource:Copyright discussions 18 Nov 2021. It was published in the United States at close enough to the same time as the UK publication and it has no copyright imprint which makes it PD for the years between 1923 (or 1926 as it is now) and some date in the early in the 1970s.--RaboKarbakian (talk) 15:22, 28 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
