Alternate Source Text Suggestion edit

This is a suggestion to the project manager of this work to further the progress and completion of this valuable work. I suggest an alternate source text: Shakespeare's Ovid : being Arthur Golding's translation of the Metamorphoses https://archive.org/details/cu31924026559777

The reason for this change is the printed FONT used in the original is to my mind unbearable and laborious to look at for any period of time. The alternate text given is the same text with a more agreeable font to which I would myself be more inclined to contribute to the completion of this text. Thanks for your consideration. @Aorubio: Thanks for the suggestion very much. In fact, Wikisource hosts different editions of works separately, so it is possible to add the 1904 edition here too (besides the 1567 edition) and it would be great if you were willing to work on it. I would be happy to help you with anything you may need. --Jan Kameníček (talk) 20:04, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hi Jan, thank you for your quick response. I am interested in seeing the above work added as a project. I am new and curious as to the work and process here in transcribing books. I would like to contact you for extended discussion on this. I can be reached at aorubio@gmail.com
However for the present, regarding this new project, are you able to leverage the present etext to the new source since it is already close to form? That would be good. I have many other works that I would like to add as well in future. I would like to know more about the effort that requires.
When do you think this new project can be added? thanks for your work in doing this. Aorubio (talk) 22:38, 27 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
