Dutch Translation has 4 chapters more thant this Wikisoure version

The title of the Dutch version is "Sprookjes uit het oude Rusland".

It is a translation of the third revised edition of Russian Wonder Tales. It was published with permission from the US publisher The Beechhurst Press, The Dutch publisher is Uitgeverij Oisterwijk Translated by Johan van Keulen, Illustrated by W, F, Dupont

The names of the four chapters are:

De taal van de Vogels

Tsaar Morskoj De heerser der zee

De berg van wit zand

De tweelingbroeders

@AmsterdamReader: Different editors and different translators may choose to include or omit portions. When A Clockwork Orange was published in the United States, the US publisher decided to leave out the last chapter. When Herfsttij der Middeleeuwen was first published in English, large parts of the text were stripped of their references, and these were only included when the book was re-translated in 2020. For Russian Wonder Tales, we have presented the English translation made by George Post Wheeler in 1912. You can take a look at the original scan and see that all published parts of the English translation are included here. There may be other Russian editions, other Dutch translations, and other English translations that are different, but our copy of the 1912 translation into English is complete. --EncycloPetey (talk) 15:47, 27 January 2024 (UTC)
