The Bar-tender's Guide/Burnt Brandy and Peach

Burnt Brandy and Peach.

(Use small bar-glass.)

• Take 1 wine-glass of Cognac
• Take 2 lumps of white sugar $\scriptstyle {\left.{\begin{matrix}\ \\\ \end{matrix}}\right\}\,}$ burnt in a saucer or plate.
• Take 2 or 3 slices of dried peaches.

Place the dried fruit in a glass and pour the liquid over them.

This drink is very popular in the Southern States, where it is sometimes used as a cure for diarrhea.
