RHYS DAVIDS.—On the 27th Dec., at Middleshaws, Chipstead, Surrey, T. W. Rhys Davids, F.B.A., D.Sc., Ph.D., LL.D., D.Litt. Founder of the Pali Text Society. President of the India Society, Governor of the School of Oriental Languages, aged 79. Cremation at West Norwood Crematorium, Saturday, 30th Dec., at 11. No flowers, by request.
