Here are some tasks you can do:

1. Resolve the "etymology question". Should we include the etymology of optics in the lead or no?
2. Reference slow light?
3. Add Gaussian optics section that explains the thin lens and the mirror equations.
4. Add information about how the microscope and reflecting telescopes were improved.
5. Add summary paragraph to History section.
6. Prove ${\frac {{\rm {d}}n}{{\rm {d}}\lambda }}<0,$ (reference Jackson, perhaps?)
7. Mention Faraday in the polarization section.
