William Bill, S.T.P., master of St. Johi' s college., was translated hither in 1551, and deprived in 1553. John Christopherson, S.T.B., was instituted in 1553, and deprived in 1558. See Bishops of Chichester. William Bill, S.T.P., was restored in 1558. Ob. 15th July 1561, and buried in Westminster Abbey. See Deans of Westminster. Robert Beaumont, /^^^i(? of Peter-house., was admitted 25th Aug. 156 1. See Margaret professors. John Whitgift, S.T.P., was admitted 4th July 1567, and in 1577 he was made bishop of Worcester. John Still, S.T.P., master of St. Jolui's college^ was translated hither 30th May, 1577. See Bishops of Bath and Wells. Thomas Nevile, ^.l^.V.., fellow of Pemhrohe hall^ suc- ceeded in 1593. He died 2nd May 1615, and was buried in the cathedral of Canterbury, of which he was dean. John Richardson, master of Peter-house, was trans- lated hither and admitted 24th May 1615. Leonard Ma we, S.T.P., master of Peter -house., was translated hither by patent 28th May 1625, ^^^ ^^' mitted 29th June 1625 ^'. See Bishops of Bath and Wells. Sami'el Brooke, S.T.P., was admitted 5th Sept. 1629. Thomas Comrer, S.T.P., was admitted i 2th Oct. 163 i . Ob. 28th Feb. 1653-4. See Deans of Carlisle.
