Compelled to wait at "Dig-down" for team; as Sherlock had taken it up with flour without my consent.

MAY 10.

Brought up small boat & left her in river at camp. Bullocks feet very tender.

MAY 11.

Returned. During my absence men employed at wall; making a garden; & other work.

MAY 12.

Men the same. Self inspecting western run & looking at land. fine kangaroo brought in (kangaroos not too plentiful)

MAY 13.

Men as usual, self at work &c. Withnall's party returned after an unsuccessful search for horses. L brought in a kangaroo.

MAY 14.

As before Self & Mc at odd jobs.

MAY 15.

Sunday.

MAY 16.

Men as above. Mc at work shed. Self making nose boards.

MAY 17.

Same as usual.

MAY 18.

Men finished garden. Mc & self nose boarding calves; & looking out site for field.
