C. 9. 21 within the refpecSlive Times herein after-mentioned (the Danger of the Seas excepted) be returned to the Officer or Officers, or Perfon or Perfons, to whom fuch Security fhall have been given as aforefaid, that the faid Commodities, expreffing the Particulars thereof, have been landed at the Port or Place for which the fame fhall have been fo declared ; and for the taking of fuch Security, and giving fuch Cocquets and Certificates (which the refpedive Officers and Perfons aforefaid are hereby on Demand required to give) no Fct or Reward fhall he demanded or received ; and if any fuch Officer or Perfon fhall make any falfe Penalty on Offi- Certificate of any fuch Commodities being fo landed, fuch Officer or Perfon (hall forfeit the Sum of two ^^r making a hundred Pounds, and lofe his Employment, and be incapable of ferving his Majefty, his Heirs or Succeflbrs, '^"^ Certificate j in any Office relating to the Cufloms ; and if any Perfon fhall counterfeit, rafe or falfify any Cocquet or and on Perfons Certificate, or knowingly publifh any fucli counterfeit, rafed or falfe Cocquet or Certificate, he fhall for- counterfeiting, feit the Sum of two hundred Pounds, and fuch Cocquet or Certificate fhall be void and of none EfFe6t; ^^' Certificates^ which faid Penalties for Offences committed in j^men'ca, fliall be recovered in the fame Courts, and in Penalties where the fame Manner, as the other Penalties inflicted by this A61 are recoverable j and for Offences which fhall ^° ^^ recovered, be committed in that Part oi' Great Britain called England^ fuch Penalties fhall be recovered by A6lion of Debt, Bill, Plaint or Information, in any of his Majefty's Courts of Record z.X.Weflrninfter^ or before the juflices of Affize, or at the great Seffions in JVales^ or by Information at any General Quarter-Seffions of the Peace for the County, City, Riding, Divifion or Place, where the Offence fhall be committed; and in fuch Suit no ElToin, Protection, Privilege, or Wager of Law fhall be allowed ; and for Offences which fhall be committed in that Part oi Great Britain called Scotland, by Action or fumrnary Bill or In- formation in the Courts of Seffions or Exchequer in Scotland; and for Offences which fhall be committed in Ireland^ in his Adajefty's Courts of Record in Dublin^ or at the General Quarter-Seffions of the Peace for the County, City or Place, where the Offence fhall be committed ; and for Offences which fhall be committed in any other of the Dominions belonging to the Crown o^ Great Britain in Europe, in the High Court of Admiralty, or any other Chief Court of Civil or Criminal Jurifdi6tion in fuch Dominions re- 'f])e£tJvely; and fuch Penalties, when recovered, fhall be divided in equal Moieties betv/een his Majefty and the Informer; and upon all Actions, Suits and Informations, that fhall be brought, commenced or entered in the faid Colonies and Plantations upon this Adi, the Offences m,ay be laid or alledged to have been committed in any Colony, Province, County or Prccinci, within the laid Plantations, at the Plea- fure of the Profecutor or Informer. V. Provided alfo.
