Executive Order 1242
The following-described tract of public land, embraced within what is known as the “Kalena Tract”, and situated on the Island of Oahu, Territory of Hawaii, is hereby reserved from sale or other form of disposition and set apart for military purposes, as an addition to the United States Military Reservation of Schofield Barracks (Waianae-Uka), viz:
Beginning at a point on the summit of Kalena peak, which point is Station 7 of the boundaries of the Waianae-Uka Military Reservation; thence by true bearings: N 71° 40′ E, 3850 feet, more or less, to a stake; thence N 5° 07′ E, 1299.5 feet, to a stake; thence S 83° 52′ W, 6747.2 feet, to a point on the ridge of the Waianae Mountains; and thence along said ridge, and binding thereon, to the place of beginning; the bearing of which point is S 58° 54′ E, 3431.5 feet: containing 214.02 acres, more or less.
