  • Use straight quotes
  • Use {{ppoem}} for verse in the main text, and <poem>...</poem> or just <br /> for verse in footnotes; if there is also text in the footnotes, wrap the verse in {{left margin|2em|...}}
  • Use {{***|5}}
  • Use {{asc}} for volume numbers like "The Heart of Mid-Lothian, vol. I, ch. 10"
  • Format section headers like so:
