Re: Amendments to the Announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform No 12 dated the 20th day of September 2549 Buddhist Era
Following the issuance of the Announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform No 12 dated the 20th day of September 2549 Buddhist Era which orders the Organic Act on State Audit, 2542 BE to remain in force, the effect of retaining such organic act in continuous force needs to be clarified, for which reason the Council for Democratic Reform announces as follows:
Article1.The provisions of article 1 of the Announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform No 12 dated the 20th day of September 2549 Buddhist Era shall be repealed and replaced by the following provisions:
“Article1.The repeal of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand shall not affect the Organic Act on State Audit, 2542 BE. The Organic Act on State Audit, 2542 BE, save the provisions of Part 1 of Chapter 1, shall remain in force until amended or repealed by a law. The State Audit Commission in office on the 18th day of September 2549 BE shall vacate office.”
Article2.The provisions of article 2 of the Announcement of the Council for Democratic Reform No 12 dated the 20th day of September 2549 Buddhist Era shall be repealed and replaced by the following provisions:
“Article2.The State Auditor General in office on the 18th day of September 2549 BE shall remain in office until the 30th day of September 2550 BE.”
