Section18.Prior to assuming duties, a Privy Councillor must affirm allegiance to the Monarch through the following statement:

"I, (name of the affirmer), hereby affirm that I will be loyal to the Monarch, and I will perform my duties with integrity for the benefit of the Country and the people, and I will also preserve and observe the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand in every respect."

Section19.A Privy Councillor vacates his position upon death, resignation, or a royal command removing him from the position.

Section20.Appointment and removal from positions of royal private officials and aides-de-camp general shall be at the royal pleasure.

Section21.Whenever the Monarch is going to be absent from the Kingdom or to be unable to handle His royal burdens for any reason whatsoever, He shall appoint any person as His Regent with the approval of the National Assembly and the President of the National Assembly shall give a countersignature.
