because He has not yet attained majority or because of any other reason, the Privy Council shall nominate any person who is appropriate for the position of Regent to the National Assembly for approval. Once approval has been given by the National Assembly, the President of the National Assembly shall announce appointing such person as Regent in the name of the Monarch.

Section23.Whilst there is no Regent according to the provisions of section 21 or section 22, the President of the Privy Council shall serve as Regent for the time being.

In the event that the Regent appointed in accordance with section 21 or section 22 is unable to perform duties, the President of the Privy Council shall act as Regent temporarily.

Whilst the President of the Privy Council is serving as Regent according to paragraph 1 or whilst the President of the Privy Council is acting as Regent according to paragraph 2, the President of the Privy Council shall not function as President of the Privy Council. In such event, the Privy Council shall select one of the Privy Councillors to act as President of the Privy Council temporarily.
