מול, מול I m. (b. h.; Assyr. mala, prob. a comp. of מ a. אל, v. Del. Proleg. p. 132) 1) border, front, in sight of. Hull. 19b (expl. ערפו ממול, Lev. V, 8, border of the neck, the space beginning with the back of the head, opposite the face, and ending with the end of the neck, opposite the throat) העורף את הרואה מ׳ the edge which sees the יoref (but not the oref itself).
