It will be shown that the past participle of these verbs is also different from the past participles of other verbs, and therefore all their compound tenses will differ too, as also the simple pluperfect, as it is formed from the simple perfect.

Simple Pluperfect.

eŭ vĕḍussem, ‘I had seen.’ eŭ creḍussem, ‘I had believed.’
tu vĕḍusseṣĭ. tu creḍusseṣĭ.
el vĕḍusse. el creḍusse.
noĭ vĕḍussem. noĭ creḍussem.
oĭ vĕḍusseṭĭ. voĭ creḍusseṭĭ.
eĭ vĕḍusse. eĭ creḍusse.
a scrie will have, of course, eŭ scrissessem.
a duce will have of course eŭ dussessem.

etc.

Perfect.

eŭ am vĕḍut, ‘I have seen.’ eŭ am creḍut, ‘I have believed.’
