¶The maner how a man ſhall put an hawke in to mewe. and that is to be wele nooted.
Off oon thyng ye moſt beware weell yff ſhe haue any ſekenes that ye make heꝛ hole oꝛ ye put hiꝛ in mewe. foꝛ as I vndeꝛſtonde a ſeke hawke ſhall neueꝛ mew well. foꝛ though ſhe mewe ſhe ſhall not endure bot while ſhe is grete and fatte. foꝛ at the abatyng of hiꝛ aſtate ſhe may no lengeꝛ endure.
