The minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed.
Mr. N. W. Thomas read a paper entitled " Magic and Religion : a criticism of Dr. Jevons' paper " ; and in the discussion which followed Dr. Jevons, Dr. Bussell, Miss Bui'ne, Miss Hull, Mrs. Scoresby Routledge and the Chairman took part.
The meeting terminated with a hearty vote of thanks to Mr. Thomas for his paper.
