1785. A Novel Interesting Musical Work. To be published in six numbers, intituled The Pupil's Compendium, or The Bee of Apollo, to consist of Italian, French and English Music, such as have been The most reigning & popular favorites at the Theatres of Rome Florence, Naples, Paris, and London adapted to the Harpsichord with occasion- ally an accompanyment for the Violin, Flute or Guitar. Half of the music will be composed The remainder selected, and the whole published under the conduct & Inspection of Mr Dibdin. No Pr 2 6. London Printed & Sold by Jno Preston at his Music & Musical Instrument Warehouse No. 97, Strand, and sold by all Music-Sellers, Booksellers, Stationers & News Carriers in the Kingdom. Initialled (with a pen) "C. D." Part 1 is folio, n.d., 16 pp., dedicated to Mrs. Sheridan, and has a long preface.
I have not seen any other parts. My date is conjectural, but probably correct.

Some copies have on the title " Entered at Stationers' Hall."
