He was Lord President, of Minister 1607-15 : Governor of Guernsey, 1620 ; P.C., 1628; Constable of Pickering Castle 162S : el and inst. KG. 7 Nov. 1633, was on the Com- mission of Regency, Aug. to Nov. 1641. He was founder of the Physic Garden* at Oxford at an expense of nearly £5,0»0. He d. unm. at Cornbury Park, Oxon, 20 Jany., 16*8/4, in his 71st year and was bur. at Danstey afsd., when nil hi* honours became extinct. M.I. at Danstey. Will pr.
