Augustus-Frederick, Duke of Sussex, but both such marriages being held (Aug. 1794) to be invalid (under " the Royal marriage act" of 1772) she took, by royal lie, 13 Oct. 1806, the name of de Ameland. She d. 4 March 1830, leaving issue (1) Col. Sir Augustus-Frederick D'Este, K.G.H., b. 13 Jan. 1794 ; d. num. 18 Dec, 1848 ; and (2) Augusta-Emma (Mile. D'Este), afterwards (1S45) Baroness Truro, b. 11 Aug. 1S01, d. s.p. 21 May 1S66. Both these, with their mother, are bur. at St. Lawrence, in the isle of TJianet.
