WHICH forefaids Commifsioners , or any foure of each Eftate nominate, asfaid is, confenting and agreeing in one voice , fhall have power to confult , convcine , and determine , upon the matters , and in manner under- written -. Providing allwayes, That there is, and fhall be requifite to the validitie of any Act, Conclufion , (Ordinance , and Determination of the faids Commifsioners, 1 he conjuncl afsent of foure of every one of the faids fourEftates,all agreeing together in one voice. Without the which confent of the faid foure of every Eftate !fo agreeing, The reft of the faids Commifsioners fhall have no power to make any valide, or effectual conclu- {ion°, by vertue of diis prcfent Commifsion : Butwhatfocverlhall be otherwayes done , is declared to be of none availe, force, nor effect. THAT IS TO SAY, Our Soveraign Lord , and Eftates of Parliament, by the Tennor hereof gives, grauntes, and committes, full power and authoritie to the faids Commifhoners, to meete, and conveine , in the Towne of Edinburgh, at fuch time, and times, as they fhall appoint, and finde convenient : And there to call, and fummonde before them , allPatrones, Tackef-men of Teynds, great and fmall, ando- thers, having Right, by whatfoever Title, of the Teyndes of any of the Kirks within this Kingdom, which are not already planted by the forefaid firft Commifsion : and which fhall any waves be meddled with by this prefent Commifsion , as they fhall think necefsary, and expedient , To exhibite , and produce before them, their Rights and Titles, whereby they claime the faid Teynds , tobefeen, and considered , by the faidsCommifsioners : With power unto them , out of the faids Teynds , of every Parochine and Kirke, not already planted; To appoint and afsigne, at their difcretions, a perpetual local Stipend to theMi- nifters prefent, and to come, at all the faids Kirks, unprovided, as faid is'- A N D that notwithftanding any Rbht or Title pretended by the faids Tackefmen, or others, in whofe favours Teyndes have beene e- refted- 3 With power alfo , to the faids Commifsioners ,to drf-unite fuch Kirks, one or moe,as were united of Defore , and appointed to be ferved by one Minifter. And as they upon good confiderations fhall finde re- quifite to appoint the fame to be ferved by feveral functions, and charges, as diftincl parochines, after fuch aianner as fhall be found by them mod expedient. Providing alwayes , That all parties having interefse n the union, and dif-uniting of the faids Kirks , and plantation thereof, give their exprefse warrand and

onfent thereunto.
